Poster of An American In Paris

I love the super long and skinny posters, like this one!

I really want to start collecting posters so I can have some to put in my dorm room when I go to college, but I want them to be shaped like this!

Love the poster!!! Not a huge fan of the movie though, I like it fine, especially Gene Kelly, but find it hard to connect to Leslie Caron, I think its partially coz she didnt know english so she just says her lines. she can't emote them truly. Also she always does ballet, and Gene always does like show dance, so they never truly dnace together aka Fred and Ginger stylee would be interested to know what you think of the movie? xx

Hey! I didn't realize you commented on here!
The movie was entertaining, but I think it wasn't the same as Fred and Ginger because Gene Kelly and Leslie Caron didn't train together. Gene did his thing and Leslie did hers, and they were paired up later. Fred Astaire did his show dancing early in his career, but it was really his sister Adele who was the star. Ginger loved to dance, but she was never trained, so when her and Fred were paired up, they really molded together and morphed to each other's styles. Then when you watch them on-screen, it seems like they were made for each other because they trained for each other.

I really actually like Leslie Caron in general because she seems sweet. Gene Kelly is a great dancer but too athletic for my liking.
